I had a great time hosting the recent St. Jude Give Thanks Walk at Paramount Studios. The event raised over 300,000 dollars for children and their families battling cancer and other life threatening diseases but it’s still not too late to add your DONATIONS. Although it costs 2 million dollars a day to run, at St. Jude, patients and their families do not pay a dime for any of their treatment and St. Jude doctors freely share their research to help the medical community find cures and save lives. I’m very honored to be a part of team St. Jude because every kid should have a chance to be a kid.
Remarkably enough my podcast Grabbing Lunch with Matt Knudsen just celebrated its 52nd episode. That is one year of going out to lunch with comedians, actors and artists from all walks of life. To commemorate this special birfday, I sat down with Helen Slater (City Slickers, Supergirl) and her husband Rob Watzke (Clio award winning editor, Founder of Shplotz Improv) at Tony’s in Studio City. Here’s a DIRECT LINK to the episode.
I’ve had a great time doing the show every week and am very grateful to everyone who has been a guest, a listener, a sponsor or even shared a word of encouragement. Check out these recent write ups for the show on Huffington Post and Splitsider. Thanks for the support and happiest of holidays.
